Turkey's Bilgin Yachts has been building serious superyachts since 1964, yet consistently fails to attract the same level of international attention as its Dutch and German counterparts. That may be about to change. The yard's latest project — a full-custom 80-metre motor yacht currently under construction in Istanbul — represents a significant step forward in ambition, design sophistication, and technical specification.
The Design Brief
The exterior lines are the work of an internationally recognised studio working in close collaboration with Bilgin's in-house naval architects. The brief was clear: create a profile that feels contemporary without resorting to the aggressively angular aesthetics that have become something of a cliché in recent years. The result is a hull with a satisfying tension between classic proportion and modern detail.

Technical Specification
The vessel will be powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system with a range of approximately 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots — unusually generous for a vessel of this size and style. The hull is steel with an aluminium superstructure, and classification is to Lloyd's Register standards throughout. A full-beam owner's suite occupies the upper deck, with six guest cabins on the main and lower decks.
Iryna, the 73.6-metre Bilgin currently represented by Mogul Yachts, gives a clear indication of what the yard is capable of delivering at the highest level. Her current asking price of €32,900,000 represents exceptional value compared to comparable vessels from northern European yards.
Delivery and Availability
